Circle of Men: Spiritual Journey to the Sacred Masculine Within:  This sacred journey is an experience to reconnect and reclaim the sacred masculine within.  On this journey, we will use and integrate spiritual truth and wisdoms from many paths with meditation, ritual (individual and community) and experiential activity, in a supportive and spiritually-guided community for clarity, inner peace, understanding and growth.   We meet the first Thursday of the month, beginning August 7, 2008, 7:30pm-9:00pm at the Takoma Park Chapel.  The dates for 2008 are: August 7, September 4, October 2, November 6 and December 4.  Suggested donation of $15 for Chapel members/$20 for friends. Usui Reiki Level I Attunement and Training:  The Reiki I training includes the level I attunement, discussion of history, benefits and uses of Reiki, reiki meditation and practical experience.  Click here for information flyer

Sunday, September 7,

Usui Reiki Level II Attunement and Training:  The Reiki II training introduces student to three sacred symbols to strengthen and enhance their Reiki energy.  The training includes discussion of symbols, their uses, reiki guided meditation and ritual and practicial experience. Click here for information flyer

Tuesdays, beginning September 9

The Shaman's Path of releasing, healing and blessing.  This class is a sacred healing journey of releasing, healing and blessing.  Healing is allowing, letting in, receiving and embracing divine love, grace and truth to those places in our spirit/self that have been hardened, hidden and suppressed.  We will participate in sacred healing rituals including: ancestor healing, journey to forgiveness, and healing with the medicine wheel.  Come and walk the shaman's path of balance, healing and self-discovery, and welcome its healing wisdom into your life.  5 Tuesdays, Sept 9 - Oct 7, 2008, 7:30-9:00pm.  Takoma Park Chapel, $50 members/$60 friends (discount for those who have taken this workshop before). Saturday, September 13

Usui Reiki Master/Master Teacher Training.  This one-day intensive training includes the Master Level and Master Teacher attunements, discussion and use of three advanced sacred symbols, several reiki healing techniques, and instruction on facilitating attunements.  Click here for information flyer

Retreat for Reiki Practitioners - This one day retreat is for students and practitioners of all levels of Usui Reiki.  During the retreat, we will participate in reiki healing techniques and rituals, reiki shares, and healing and meditation circles.  The retreat will be held, from 10:00am to 4:00pm, at the Hippocrates Way, 9831 Greenbelt Road, Suite 311 Seabrook, MD 20706.  Click for directions, http://www.hippocratesway.com/ .  The fee is $40 for those I initiated into Reiki and $50 for others.  Click here for information flyer Space is limed, so please register early!

Friday-Saturday, October 3-4 A Gathering of Men: Sacred Journey to Self, Columbia, South Carolina  We take this seven-stage spiritual journey to rediscover our sacred, true Self.  The experience begins with a Friday evening Circle to meet, greet and prepare for the journey.  On Saturday, we embark on this inner voyage of ritual, self-discovery, release and affirmation in a spirit-guided and supportive community of men led by spiritual teacher and guide Anthony Farmer.  Come, connect, reflect, breathe, allow and receive as we journey to the golden mountain within., Friday evening Circle of Preparation: 7:30-9:00pm, Saturday Sacred Journey: 9:30-5:30pm.
